No one knows exactly when Sitting Bull was born the only thing that is well known is that he was born around 1837. Sitting Bull was the chief of the Dakota Sioux, he was so important; because, he was the leader of a territory movement, against white people and some Indians who were friend of the whites. Dakota rebeled against those people and they did not admit his land would be taken over by the whites.
In my opinion he was a hero, I strongly believe that this story is related to Mapuche's cause; because, they both fight for their lands.
Well, I too think that what he did was an heroic act, always when people fight for what belong to them is a valuable accion. He was the leader of his tribe and defended his territory against settlers, so he is an hero for the courage he showed.

It seems that Sitting Bull was a real heroe. It's emotional for me see those kind of people that really follow their believes. Personally, I think that those are the real role model. Those are the people that we need to become our society in a critical, honest and fair one.
